They just charged me $210 on my credit card for mistakes they made in billing over a year ago. They sent an email saying they didn't collect the appropriate co-pay for six visits that occurred over a year ago, and they went ahead and charged my credit card directly in a lump sum without my approval. If there was an error in billing, I expect to be informed through an itemized invoice with a detailed explanation, and I sure don't think it's acceptable to charge me for your errors without my approval. How do you even have my credit card information? I had to give it to you every time before a virtual visit because you said you couldn't store that information. So you used my credit card information, that you claimed you couldn't store, to charge my card a lump sum without my approval for errors you claim exist but haven't even bothered to prove.
They also texted me about it before I got the email explaining what they were doing. I blocked the number though because the first thing they texted was a picture someone used their phone to take of a computer screen. The screen showed the details of the visits in question (date, my name, the office and doctor, the amount billed, the amount my insurance paid, and the co-pay due) and I thought that was a HIPPA violation and I didn't want to deal with it.
Edit: The Doctor just called me and said that the number that texted me was an office cell phone. She never said that what happened wasn't a HIPPA violation though, she just wanted to stress that the cell phone used to contact me was an office phone. What if that text, with my personal medical information regarding my visits, had been sent to the wrong phone number? She also stands by the decision to charge my credit card without my permission, without having provided me a physical statement explaining their failure to collect the correct co-pay at the time of service, and without providing any additional proof that these co-pays were not in fact paid. A doctor's office is not allowed to charge my credit card simply because they feel they are owed. They have to show that they are owed, and then they are entitled to payment prior to my next visit. They have to either wait for me to pay on my own, or they can send the charges to collections. Imagine if every place you've ever used a credit card can go back and decide years later that they didn't charge you enough at the time, so they just go ahead and charge you whenever they feel like it for what they think they are owed. I will still be disputing this charge on my credit card, and after the response from the doctor, I will start looking at what other options I have to protect myself from their predatory unethical billing practices.

He will prescribe you medication just fine, and he is friendly enough. However, he is consistently 30+ minutes late to our online appointments. The staff here are very difficult to work with, and have been rude and sarcastic in their tone every time I've called. If you want an office that will just give you the medicine you want easy, then this will work fine. However, if you want a place that will check in on you, care about your true well-being, and help you with any issues in a kind and reasonable manner, then keep looking!

Terrible dr and terribly rude and disorganized staff .blamed me for miscommunication and withdrawal symptoms when it was their delay for appointment. Please do not go for them. My anxiety shot off dealing with their mismanagement and lack of care

Very understanding and actually listens to you are your concerns. I recommend him since he is a lot nicer and more helpful than other psychiatrists I've been to in the past.

Dr. Sreepathi is a very good psychiatrist. At first I was very hesitant to see a psychiatrist but when I went to see him he took his time listening to my concerns and made sure I was comfortable which was very important to me. I feel so much better than I did before and I highly recommend him.

I've been seeing Dr. Sreepathi for almost a year now for mental health issues. He's been incredibly kind and compassionate toward my mental health struggles. His staff are helpful and responsive and making appointments is easily done online. I highly recommend his services.

Dr. Sreepathi listened and seemed empathetic and knowledgeable. He did not push medications on me, as I am reluctant to medicate, but instead made his educated suggestions and left it in my hands to decide. I’ve only seen him once but he seems like a good dr to have on your side.
